Black Granite is a fine-to-medium grained igneous rock composed primarily of feldspar, quartz, mica, and amphibole minerals. Its deep black coloration comes from the dominance of dark-colored minerals, particularly hornblende and biotite, in the rock’s mineral composition. Pakistani Black Granite is quarried from intrusive igneous formations and is recognized for its uniform color, dense structure, and ability to take a high-gloss mirror polish. It is one of the hardest and most durable natural stones available, making it suitable for both interior and exterior applications in all climates.

Surface Finishes

Polished, Honed, Flamed, Brushed, Leather Finish, Bush Hammered, Sandblasted. Polished gives the deepest black with a mirror-like reflection. Flamed and bush hammered finishes provide slip resistance for exterior use.

• Kitchen countertops and worktops: Black Granite is one of the most popular countertop materials globally. Its hardness, scratch resistance, heat tolerance, and stain resistance (when sealed) make it ideal for heavy-use kitchen surfaces

• Commercial and residential flooring: Polished or honed Black Granite tiles for lobbies, corridors, reception areas, showrooms, and high-traffic commercial floors. Flamed or bush hammered tiles for exterior paving and outdoor areas

• Bathroom surfaces: Vanity tops, shower walls, floor tiles, and tub surrounds. Black Granite’s low water absorption and chemical resistance make it ideal for wet areas

• Monuments and memorials: Black Granite is the global standard for headstones, memorial plaques, cemetery monuments, and commemorative installations. Its ability to hold detailed engraving and lettering with high contrast makes it the preferred memorial stone

• Staircase treads and risers: Polished or flamed treads for interior and exterior staircases

Quality Assurance

Each shipment can be supplied with a material inspection report and physical test data including compressive strength, flexural strength, water absorption, density, and abrasion resistance. Third-party pre-shipment inspection (SGS or equivalent) is available on request. Color consistency checks and slab matching services are available for projects requiring uniform black across large areas.
