Pakistani yellow maize for animal feed, poultry feed, starch and ethanol production
Yellow maize from Pakistan. Feed and food grade. Bulk and containerized shipments. Price on inquiry, shipped from Karachi.
Maize is the third most produced cereal grain globally after wheat and rice. Pakistani yellow maize is cultivated in two growing seasons (Kharif/summer and Rabi/spring) across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sindh, ensuring year-round availability. The grain is harvested, sun-dried or mechanically dried, cleaned, and graded at modern grain handling facilities before export. Pakistani maize is predominantly yellow dent and flint varieties with high starch content, good protein levels, and low moisture suitable for feed, food, and industrial applications.

Feed Grade: standard specifications for animal and poultry feed
Food Grade: stricter aflatoxin and foreign matter limits for human consumption
Industrial Grade: for starch, ethanol, and corn oil extraction
Poultry feed: Yellow maize is the primary energy source in poultry feed formulations, comprising 50-70% of broiler and layer feed rations. Pakistan’s poultry industry is one of the largest in Asia, creating a deep domestic and regional supply chain for feed-grade maize
Animal feed: Maize is used in cattle, dairy, aquaculture, and pet food formulations as a high-energy grain ingredient providing starch, protein, and essential fatty acids
Corn starch production: Maize kernels are wet-milled to extract corn starch, a major industrial raw material used in food processing, paper manufacturing, textile sizing, adhesives, and pharmaceuticals
Corn oil extraction: The germ fraction from wet milling is pressed to produce corn oil for cooking, food manufacturing, and biodiesel feedstock
Ethanol and biofuel: Maize is fermented and distilled to produce fuel ethanol and industrial alcohol. Pakistan’s ethanol industry processes maize alongside sugarcane molasses
Food processing: Food-grade maize is used in corn flour, corn meal, corn grits, tortilla, polenta, breakfast cereals, snack foods, and corn-based sweeteners (glucose, fructose, dextrose)
Brewing and distilling: Maize is used as an adjunct grain in beer brewing and as a feedstock for whiskey and industrial spirit production
DDGS (Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles): The co-product from ethanol production is a high-protein animal feed ingredient
Each shipment includes a Certificate of Quality reporting moisture, protein, starch, oil, fibre, broken/damaged, foreign matter, aflatoxin levels, test weight, and non-GMO status.
