Soapstone for Industrial Use: A Natural Raw Material Soapstone, also known as steatite, is abundantly found in the Sherwan area of Hazara District, Pakistan. These deposits are primarily located within a narrow 10-mile zone in the dolomite unit of the Abbottabad Formation, estimated to be of Carboniferous age. Predominantly situated at the eastern end on the northern flank of a syncline.
Soapstone, a talc-schist metamorphic rock, is chiefly composed of the magnesium-rich mineral talc. Formed through dynamothermal metamorphism and metasomatism processes, it undergoes transformation due to heat and pressure in tectonic plate subduction zones, accompanied by fluid influx but without melting. Esteemed as a carving medium for millennia.

Payment Method

Packaging Information

Lumps are usually sent in an Open Container, without any additional packing.

We require a 30% deposit via T/T, with the remaining 70% due before delivery. We provide photos of the products and packages before final payment. We also accept LC from reputable banks and certain countries.
