Quartz powder is a finely ground crystalline silica powder produced by milling high-purity quartz sand or quartz rock. It is an exceptionally versatile functional filler, extender and additive, offering a range of desirable properties including chemical inertness, high whiteness, low thermal expansion, high melting point, excellent dielectric properties, hardness, and wear resistance. Pakistan’s high-grade quartz reserves yield quartz powders with up to 99.7% SiO₂ content across a wide range of carefully controlled particle sizes.

Applications

Functional filler and extender for paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, sealants, and polymers. Ceramic and refractory raw material. Foundry sand additive. Media for water filtration, horticulture, and oil/gas proppants. Abrasive powder for polishes, cleaners, and dental products. Filler and flow aid for agrochemicals and fertilizers. Excipient and tableting aid in pharmaceuticals. Anti-caking and free-flow agent in food and feed. Additive for specialty glass, fiberglass, and quartz composites.

Quality Assurance

Each production lot includes a Certificate of Analysis with chemical composition, particle size distribution, whiteness, loss on ignition, moisture, pH, and other properties relevant to the grade and application. Particle size control within ± 2% of nominal. Pre-shipment samples provided for client approval. Custom milling and QC available to meet specific requirements.
